When is the sawdust festival in laguna beach

Hedy Buzan, a second-generation Laguna artist, grew up visiting the grounds along Laguna Canyon Road, where her father, Boris, used to show his work. She first exhibited in the mids, and celebrates the freedom the festival affords participants. Now in its 55th year, Sawdust is also noted for its emphasis on local artists and crafters.

The event space, which is truly lined with sawdust, has an only-in-Laguna feel. Throughout the grounds on Independence Day, patrons enjoyed live music, shopping and watching artists, including painters and glassblowers, at work. The festival is open from 11 a. I liked the idea of trolleys to help alleviate the traffic headaches, but I saw that many only run on weekends. I went on Thursday, early in the day, and found parking nearby. Made it convenient to also attend the Laguna Playhouse performance at night.
